Alzheimer’s disease is a chronic neurological disorder that causes brain cells to degenerate and die. It affects memory, thinking, and behavior and is the most common cause of dementia. Dementia is a continuous decline in cognitive skills, behavior, and social abilities that impairs a person’s ability to live independently.
Currently, Virtual Reality (VR) technology is becoming increasingly important in the field of public health, particularly in its application to develop educational media, manage learning, enhance or review skills through the creation of virtual worlds in various forms and types. This enables patient care in different ways, such as symptom diagnosis, surgery, childbirth, the use of medical equipment or instruments, and many other applications.
